Update July 21 2015

My step-sister Ilona Vecere Fermin threatened me with copyright infringement regarding the original header image of my dad Dr. Anthony Snopek of 1534 Lakeshore Rd. Sarnia. I complied and replaced the picture with one that I own. Furthermore she wanted my site taken down due to what she falsely claimed is slander, libel and defamation – this, I will not comply with as every word I written is accurate and true and ONLY a direct court order would make me pull down my legacy site in memory of my father Dr. Anthony Snopek of 1534 Lakeshore Rd Sarnia.

Here is Mrs. Ilona Vecere Fermin complaint.

This is to file an official image copyright infringement complaint against Mr Snopek, who owns the following
domains:
www.snopeksarnia.ca
www.snopeksarnia.com

Besides the fact that Mr Snopek engages in slander, libel and defamation of a deceased person causing great distress to the family, the header he uses on his website is a photograph legally owned by my mother, Mrs Marie Snopek (widow of Dr Anthony Snopek, the deceased) and which Mr Snopek has no permission to use.

We can only assume that Mr Snopek copied the image from my step-father's obituary notice at
http://www.lambtonshield.com/snopek-dr-anthony-karl-dec-7-2014-2/. This obituary notice was the only use of my step-father's photograph that my mother ever authorized.

Ideally, we would like both these websites locked down. However, realizing this may not be possible, we would request that, at the very least, the photo header be removed.

I have a good faith belief that use of this image in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner (my mother, Mrs Marie Snopek), her agent (myself, Mrs Ilona Vecere-Fermin) or the law.

We solemnly declare that the information in this notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that Mrs Marie
Snopek is the owner of an exclusive right that is infringed.

Dr. Snopek and his second family Marie Snopek and her daughter Ilona Vecere Fermin also of Lakeshore Rd Sarnia always had a very   comfortable life while the son lives in extreme poverty. The son is tagged by the government as “a person with multiple barriers” who is not able to seek any meaningful employment, forced to live on a government issued $650 a month cheque. 

Since the son turned twelve Dr. Snopek did not provide any help with the son’s education, clothing, shelter or any special needs. It was always believed that after his death millionaire Dr. Snopek would leave the son enough to live on – Dr. Snopek left the son nothing!

So far the late Dr. Snopek’s widow Marie Snopek of 1534 Lakeshore Rd. Sarnia or her daughter Ilona Vecere Fermin of Lakeshore Rd. Sarnia have refused to publicly comment.
